Charlotte Bobcats (18-28) at Golden State Warriors (28-19), 10:30 p.m.

Jason Richardson faces his former team for the first time, as the Charlotte Bobcats visit the Golden State Warriors tonight at ORACLE Arena.

Richardson is averaging 20.1 points, 5.4 rebounds and 3.1 assists in 46 games for Charlotte this season. The Bobcats acquired the Michigan State product in a trade from Golden State on draft night.

This is the first of two meetings between the clubs this season. Charlotte is scheduled to host Golden State on March 5th at Charlotte Bobcats Arena.

The teams have split the last four contests in the series. Charlotte has lost all three meetings at Golden State.

The Warriors go for back-to-back wins, as they open a five-game homestand against Charlotte. On Wednesday, Stephen Jackson led a balanced Golden State attack with 26 points, as the Warriors beat the New Orleans Hornets, 116-103, at New Orleans Arena.

Former Hornet Baron Davis went 5-of-7 from three-point range and had 23 points and nine assists for the Warriors, who have won three of their last four games overall. Matt Barnes scored 17 points and Monta Ellis contributed 16 points, nine rebounds and seven assists for Golden State, which finished the game 13- of-27 from beyond the arc.

Golden State will also host Chicago, Sacramento, Washington and Phoenix on the current homestand. The Warriors, who have won two in a row as the host, are 13-8 at home this season.

The Bobcats play the third of a five-game road trip. Brad Miller scored 22 points and grabbed a career-high 21 rebounds for his first career 20-20 game, to lead the Sacramento Kings over Charlotte, 105-91, on Wednesday at ARCO Arena.

Gerald Wallace scored 25 points for the Bobcats, who lost for the fourth time in their last six contests overall and are 1-1 on the swing. Raymond Felton contributed 16 points and seven assists, while Emeka Okafor added 13 points and 15 rebounds in defeat.

Charlotte is 4-14 on the road this season. The Bobcats will visit the Denver Nuggets on Saturday and the Phoenix Suns on Monday in the finale of the road trip.
